PRODUCT INFORMATION
1) How to use trial version of application?
After installation, on first start, application will run as trial version (could be used in 30 days). After this period product will stop running. If you want to continue using the product, you have to buy it and enter activation code and it will allow you to continue working with application. In other case you have to uninstall product.
2) May I submit my opinions about application?
Of course. By contact form on MCS Studios website you can submit any founded errors, product's opinions and offers of new features and applications. We always take serious opinions of our clients.
3) May I be a beta-tester of your products?
Of course. Submit your application via contact form to our "Technical support" section.
ACTIVATION AND LICENSE
4) How can I use an application after activation?
Activation allows you to use application how you like basically with included product license by MCS Studios.
5) Is activation a registration also?
Activation and registration are two different cases. Register is optional for users who want to receive information about updates, new products, news and special offers from MCS Studios. Activation is process of running license and unblock product on user's computer.
6) How will be activation information used?
For each one product, every license we grant individual activation code. Data will be submitted to MCS Studios so they will be checked with legality of product. Activation system allows on reminding users their activation codes in case of lost.
7) Why product doesn't accept my old activation code?
Check if you use your activation code with correct program and its version. Products versions (marked by other date) 2008 need new activation code which is different for versions released in year 2005 or 2006. Our updates between versions like that need purchasing an upgrade license, which is cheaper than new license by 20%-50%. All other updates are free.
8) How to activate product?
Full installation package of product (activated) is the same like in trial version. Therefore to activation you need only updated copy of application and activation code, which will change trial version in full version. If you want get activation code, you have to buy product in MCS Studios on-line shop. This way of selling is comfortable for user, who has possibility to download every next update and activating it via the same activation code. In case of purchased version, activation code can be included to box, product certificate or e-mail message received from MCS Studios.
9) Which products need to be activated?
You need to activate products, which were released on other license than freeware. Here is a commercial application list.
10) Will I have to activate product after formatting my hard drive?
Yes. Installation package on user's computer works in trial period (for 30 days). To change trial version to full version, activation code is required. In case of lost data or hard drive format retrial installation of MCS Studios product is possible in the same way. Activation code for user doesn't change, so you have to keep it. In case of lost you have to contact with technical support of MCS Studios.
11) Can I use software on multiple computers at the same time?
In purpose of trying a software (trial version), license allows you to install product on multiple computers. After finish trial period (30 days), you cannot use MCS Studios software any more. If you still want use application you have to purchase for application code. After getting activation code user can install, activate and work with copy of MCS Studios software on number of computers resulted from purchased license. One computer is one product license. 12) When I start the application I have received information, that trial period has finished, but I use it only 3 days. What happened?
MCS Studios products have protections which check inversion of system clock and date. It is possible that application found that inversion and blocked trial period. If you still are interested to MCS Studios products, please contact our support team.
13) Should I remove MCS Studios product after license moving to other computer?
Yes. It depends on number of licenses that user purchased. User should adjust number of computers to license.
14) How can I move the license to other computer? I have only one product license.
If you want move a license from one computer to another, you should select option "About" from menu "Help" and next in appeared window click: "Remove activation code from this computer". Application will notify us about removing the license and about return to trial version. In next step on another computer you should install application and activate it by the same activation code, which you have purchased.
15) How many times can I move the license to other computers? Can I back to my old computer? Will this make effect on my license?
Number of license transfer is infinity. License transfer doesn't have any effects on license even if we want to use it in a company or organization. Please remember to remove activation from previous computer.
16) I have personal license, and now I want use the application for commercial purposes. What should I do to make this possible?
If the application will be used on the same computer there is no need to inform MCS Studios. If you want to move license from your personal computer to computer in company, you have to use license transfer tool, removing activation from personal computer. There is no need to extends license or additional purchases.

18) Can use your application for commercial purposes if I have bought it for my company?
Of course! All our applications are available with licenses which authorize to using applications for every purposes and also for commercial use.
19) When should I get purchased application?
It depends from selected purchase way and from using possibility to upgrade or special offer. You can find all details on site "How to buy?".
20) Are you offering any discounts?

21) Will I receive the application on CD-ROM and with manual?
MCS Studios offer contains only products without boxes, in electronic version, for download. Moreover every product has built-in documentation in electronic version (PDF). Thanks this advance, MCS Studios products are cheaper than competitive. Every new client receives invoice and unique activation code via e-mail.
22) When will I get the product?
Dispatch of product depends on chosen purchase option. If payment has been done by credit card / debit card, bank transfer while buying on-line or you made long period payment, product will be sent in 48 hours from payment confirmation.
If you have chosen other way of payment, dispatch will take place after payment confirmation. We will confirm payment via e-mail.
23) Purchasing process in Internet has been interrupted. Are my personal data stored in this situation?
No. All data entered in buying process are saved only after sending order by clicking "Buy".
24) Why in your on-line shop payment, delivery is operated by other company?

25) Is your on-line shop safe?
On-line shopping procedure is protected by safe connection, and only receiver can read submitted data. Thanks this important information, like credit cards numbers addresses and so on, are protected while sending by Internet to receiver.
All data entered on protected sites are coded with SSL protocol (Secure Socket Layer). Our servers support ver. 3 of SSL standard with 168-bit coding via Triple-DES algorithm. RSA module and SSL session are supported with 1024-bit coding.
SSL coding can be recognized by locked padlock in browser's window. You can also recognize secured sites by "https" phrase on the beginning of site address.
UPDATES
26) I have older version of application. Can I update it to higher version?
Yes, we have upgrade offer for the newest versions of programs for old versions users. Upgrade price is lower than application basic version price.
27) I have bought the product, but after two weeks appeared a new version. Do I have to pay for update?
If you have bought product 60 days before release upgraded version, you can update your version for free. Submit us information about purchasing date using the website contact form.
28) Are products updates possible?
Yes, updates are free if product date is the same, for example "MCS Firewall 2006" is not the same version as "MCS Firewall 2008". Updates like this are paid. We offer possibility to buy upgrade cheaper. Price of upgrade is lower than application basic version price.
